i hope they come take his fucking jersey. and i hope that the other winners, all of whom likely doped, have enough honor left to come out and say, "if you're going to take bjarne's, you're going to have to take mine too..."
it's time for pro cycling to finally acknowledge that EVERYONE is doping and has been since 1903. the "clean" tour is a fucking illusion. we need to move from a nancy regan philosophy to a dancesafe one. the biggest problem, in my opinion, isn't that doping "sullies" the sport, it's that it can kill the cyclist if it's done wrong. and that there's a lot of pressure on the cyclist from all sides to excel at your health's expense.
